The Sheridan County Weed District is hiring summer employees for the spray crew. This is temporary employment, approximately from June 1 to Sept. 30. Duties include spraying noxious weeds, keeping accurate records and maintaining equipment. Work schedule includes early mornings, but is variable. Work may be performed in undesirable weather conditions. Applicants should be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid MT driver’s license. A background in farming, spraying equipment and mechanical repair is helpful but not required. If interested, contact the Sheridan County Weed District for a complete job description and application. HELP WANTED:
Sheridan County is seeking a Deputy Clerk for the District Court’s Office under the supervision of the District Court Clerk. This is a full-time position with working hours between 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The initial pay rate will depend on experience and will be increased after a one-year probationary period. Minimum qualifications are an education equivalent to graduation from high school with experience using office skills and meeting with the public.
